What are the Unturned Russia Best Base Locations?
The Unturned Russia best base locations are Zavod Tank Factory, Western Collapsed Train Tunnel, Volk Military Base, Krovi Estate, and Firewatch Base. There are several excellent base locations in Unturned Russia that you should consider based on your playstyle. Many PVP lovers will seek to base around military locations because they value military gear and fighting. Zavod Tank Factory
On the Russia map, the top place to be is around Zavod tank factory. It is the nexus for all the best loot locations on the map. Zavod itself has plenty of ranger military loot, complimented by some construction and food loot. Tanks and military vehicles will also spawn inside, making it a great location to be watching regularly. The hilltops around Zavod make for great places to build your base. From atop your base, you will be able to monitor the area most trafficked by experienced and geared players. Allowing you to scout out and engage them on your own terms and avoid being ambushed. Take down someone making a return trip from Volk Military Base and reap the rewards of their hard work looting.
You will also be within walking distance of the other best loot locations on the map. Volk military base and the Silo 22 dead zone will be just to the north. All the highest-tiered loot and vehicles can be found there. St. Petersburg is just south of Zavod. Loot runs can be made here to the mechanic to obtain valuable gas cans, blowtorches, car jacks, and vehicle batteries. There is also plenty of civilian and food spawns here for your more basic needs.
Western Collapsed Train Tunnel
The western collapsed train tunnel is located just west of Zavod. It is near all the best loot locations, just like Zavod. The main difference is that it is outside of the heavily trafficked area around Zavod. This is great for players who want to be near Volk Military Base, Silo 22, and St. Petersburg but avoid the more frequent engagements that living near Zavod includes. Simply tuck yourself away in this hilly area and just keep your eye out for players taking the long way around Zavod. The tunnel itself is a small ranger military spawn. A mega zombie can even spawn inside and can be taken out for some good loot. Beware when inside the tunnel and on the train tracks, this area is a kill box surrounded by cliffs that are perfect for an ambush. However, if you see a hostile player making a loot run to the tunnel, you can also use this to your advantage. Simply stay hidden and wait for them to enter the trap and you’ll have them pinned down with the high ground.
Volk Military Base
If you need additional Unturned Russia best base locations, try building around Volk Military Base. Pick one of the many hills surrounding the base and play king of the hill with all the other people trying to assert their dominance around the most sought-after loot in the game. This area will be heavily camped by the most experienced players and your base will be a high-value raid target. So, if you’re looking for some good fights this is the place for you. It’s also the closest you can get to Silo 22 dead zone making trips quick and easy while minimizing the chance you’re ambushed returning to base with your haul. Volk military base has helicopter pads and by choosing a location here you will be able to monitor the spawn from your base. Making you, potentially, the first to see if a Hind spawns. You will definitely win the game of king of the hill with a hind.
Krovi Estate
Looking to get away from the high-traffic war zone that is the northwest corner of the map? Try basing around Krovi Estate. Krovi contains some very unique mafia spawns. Here you can find a lot of calling cards, which are excellent submachine guns that are great in mid to close-range combat. The estate also contains a small mechanic spawn with a gas tank to keep a car fueled and maintained. The tunnel to the north contains a ranger military spawn. Finally, Silo 22 is close by to get some higher-tier loot and gear with a much safer return trip. This is one of Unturned Russia best base locations if you want a more peaceful existence with some solid loot spawns.
Keryev Quarry
Keryev Quarry is for those of you who like to build big. Boasting numerous metal rock nodes, one can quickly harvest loads of metal to build a large fortress quickly. Pick an overlooking hill and make an impenetrable metal compound to call home. Keryev contains a small mechanic and a gas tank to maintain and fuel a vehicle in addition to its numerous construction spawns. St. Petersburg is just over a hill to the East for the odds and ends you might need. For high-tier gear, you can make short trips north to the collapsed train tunnel or Zavod. You are likewise within a reasonable distance of Volk Military Base and Silo 22, especially with a vehicle.
Firewatch Base
