Create a Sim
One of the easiest ways to get a vampire sim in your active household is to simply create one at the start of your game. While creating your household in the beginning, you will have the option to choose a human sim or one of the occults. You can choose to make your sim human, werewolf, fairy, vampire, witch, etc. Your sim will come with all of the abilities that typically come with being a vampire if created this way.
Be Turned into a Vampire

For example, you will need to have a high angler skill level in order to catch the vampire fish. However, you should check out the elixir consignment store to see if any ingredients are in stock for the day.
Additionally, you will be able to purchase the bottled vampire’s bite from the consignment store in town. This is one of the easiest ways to learn how to become a vampire in Sims 3 if you did not start your game as one. This will require the supernatural expansion being installed and adding the elixir consignment lot to your world. The inventory of the store will change daily, so you may not find the bottled vampire’s bite immediately. Continue to return to the store and check the inventory every day for a chance to buy it. How to Cure a Vampire in Sims 3
Once your sim has become a vampire in Sims 3, reversing the transformation and returning them to normal is primarily done through two methods. The first method entails concocting a potent cure elixir at an alchemy station. Alternatively, you can opt for an easier route and buy a cure from the elixir consignment store or the science facility. Once the cure has been consumed, the vampire status will be removed from your sim and they will return to a normal human state.
Potent Cure Elixir
A sim that studies the alchemy skill will learn how to make a potent cure elixir. Successfully making this potion will allow for you to use it and cure yourself of vampirism. The sim will return to a normal human state. To make the potent cure yourself, the elixir requires the following items: wolfsbane flower, glow orbs, and a ruby. Alternatively, if you have the Supernatural expansion pack installed, you can go to the consignment store and purchase one there if it is for sale. This will cost you $664 Simoleons.
Do not confuse the potent cure elixir with a cure elixir. They sound similar, however, the cure elixir only cures curses that are put on a sim. The potent cure elixir will cure curses and any supernatural statuses that are on a sim, returning them to a normal human state.
Buy Vampire Cure at Science Facility
Another quick option is to head over to the science facility and have your sim purchase a vampire cure. If your sim does not have a high enough alchemy skill or access to the elixir ingredients, they will not be able to make the cure themselves. This may be your only option if you do not have the Supernatural expansion installed and do not have access to the elixir consignment store to purchase the potent cure elixir. This can be a bit pricey, as it costs $3000. If you have the extra simoleons, this is a fast and surefire way to make your sim free of any supernatural statuses.
Your sim will enter the facility and come out with a cure to drink in their inventory. Simply make them consume it when you wish and they will return to a normal human state.
